I was quite involved in a lot of the meetings where deliberations were made about the set up of the company. Although not an executive director, being the wife of one kept me well informed about how the company was doing. I retired from HM Revenue & Customs in 2020 when my office was closed down and after working for the department for 29 years. My role at HMRC initially involved attendance at Crown courts to assist counsel with the prosecution of cases on importation of drugs and cigarettes. However, my later years were spent on compliance work, mainly inspection of VAT records. My role at Choice Global Ltd includes assisting the CEO with admin work.
