Hello, my name is Gemma
I started with Choice Global in 2020 as the Care Coordinator. Since then, I became the Quality and Compliance Manager after achieving my level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Health and Social Care in May 2022. The Director of Choice Global saw potential in me and allowed me to upskill and become a big part of the day to day running of the company. This new role will enable me to contribute hugely to the growth of the company. I am really looking forward to seeing how the company progresses once we have a new Care Coordinator on board.
I am an experienced carer with over 10 years in the field. I have a particular interest in medication and the administration of medication, making sure that laws and legislations are respected, and I pride myself on the knowledge that I have gained through my experience and training. Over the years I have completed all of my mandatory training modules as well as studied for my Care Certificate in 2020.
I am also a keen trainer and always ensure that Choice Global staff are treated with respect, dignity and that their different skills and backgrounds only contribute towards the diversity, equality and inclusive nature of the company’s values and ethos.
I am dedicated to ensuring that compliance with national standards is upheld whilst delivering a quality service to all of our clients as well as our staff.
I chose Choice Global because of their mission statement and core values. I have worked in a range of different settings, varying from residential care homes to care at home and in the community and I found Choice Global to be different to all the rest. Their focus wasn’t on any financial gains, instead the focus was on providing an exceptional quality of person-centred care. The company was small when I joined the team and now with the expertise of our vastly growing team, it is becoming a confident and competent business, that is only improving with experience and a fantastic team of care professionals.
